Man do boys know how to push your buttons and test your abilities as a parent, yet we thank God for them each and everyday...

Wow where did the years go??
I'm serious friends if I'd waited just a few weeks to make a post it would have been over three years since my last post! Seriously time has flown and so much has changed I didn't know whether to start a new blog or just to try and pick up where I left off! We currently are still only a family of five only older and bigger and busier then ever. We've not been able to follow through with a international adoption but have recently hen through GPS glasses with our local DHR. Since are last post we've gained extended family and lost dear loved ones. The most influential person we've lost has been my father in law. June 27th will be a year and in some ways it seems it's only been a day! There have been so many emotions we know he's with his Heavenly Father and in the best health ever, no pain, no sorrow, but we all miss him! So many stories to share and memories to be recorded and not forgotten. He was my father figure sine we married when we were young and my father had been absent since I was like 10. My sons have no clue how lucky they are to have a father, that's present and loving. Let alone a believer in our Heavenly Father, and who has a personal relationship with Christ. I feel so torn in what to tell you and how to catch you up! The boys are now 12, 10 ,and 9! They all enjoy playing football and the two youngest swim on our local swim team. Riley just finished spring training for middle school football, yes I said middle school(pause) do you know how old I feel to have a upcoming middle schooler! Yikes! The younger two Brody and Emerson are now swimming for the spring and summer that makes for a busy summer! We have enjoyed swimming and with my work schedule as a preschool teacher we've made it work. They both swim after school for now until schools out and summer season begins! Then the early morning practices start and hopefully this old lady can get in the gym! I've fallen apart since I last posted and have had multiple blocks and physical therapy sessions for neck and back from a incident a few years back. So trying to join the old ladies in the pool for water therapy and hopefully regain some strength. Oh and there's more to come soon we will have puppies! Yes you heard me puppies are two precious Golden's have been busy obviously. Keep you ear out if you know of anyone interested!

The so called leader of the house hold...
Hello all.. This is the leader of the Schaefer tribe. Meg took the kids to school today like always and she let me sleep in. I love getting on her page and reading her post. She is the real deal as she writes and it's interesting sometimes I have a chance to understand her true feelings on issues we are going through. Meg is great she does take care of her household and puts her stress aside just to keep things from derailing off the tracks. I, as her husband try my best to take care of her, yet sometimes fail. The last 12 years of my life have most certainly been a learning experence. The most important part of my life is my relationship with our maker. The second most is Meg and then my family. Sounds pretty basic and ordinary I know. I want to share for a moment the depth of our relationship with God, should be. Most of you may know and be at a much deeper point, but I'm a slow learner, very slow. I'm to be the leader of this tribe, at first I was gun ho about the role. We just got married and she was hot (still is) we had a plan and a new carreer only thing is the plan had just enough of God in it to satisfy the world. Leadership was the task I have learned in the last 12 years, and still learning. To serve my God and my wife. I'll share more soon. I think true leadership and real men of God are the only hope for this world. I'm trying to get there..

It's a wrap.... At least it is for spring break!
Well I know it is ridiculous but this wraps up are spring break week!! I know it's late, you ask why even have it when we literally only have three school weeks left for the school year! Their reasoning was test scores but I'm afraid the kids brains were totally fried while testing I know at least this momma, teacher and wife's brains were not functioning, my entire body was in survival mode and it was barely coasting.. So I can say better late than never ill take it when I can get it I guess I don't have a choice in the matter so I might as well get over myself ha!! See I work for a private church preschool but we follow the Cullman City's school schedule which makes my life's easier considering the boys go to city schools.. It's been a blessing working this year after being home for ten+ years and I'm loving being out of the house but guys my house is not going to survive next year, you see I'm only teaching two to three days a week right now and on my off days I keep my girlfriends kids for her at my house but I'm barely treading water now, with laundry, ball season and dinner which I never cook who would be there to eat it not us! Oh well something has to give and for now it has to be the house which if you knew me it is not an easy task somedays I want to hyperventilate and run out screaming, I don't but some days I do just leave because I'm overwhelmed and need to call in the reinforcement aka(hubby) he's a real life saver most of the time... Oh well here's the kicker next year I go back full time which I'm excited about but nervous my family will take of residence else where because they don't like messes but also don't like to clean.. I take that back if the hubs has time he loves to help out and Brody are middle child loves helping with whatever task your doing!! He's gonna be a big help when little sis gets here from China and I also think Riley and Emerson will step up to they're all excited to have gotten are first call from our SW yesterday.. Me to this momma is tickeled pink and can not wait to be matched.. Here's to the future may God give us strength and mercy through this process!! Then to add to the caus we call life, are house is on the market so we've been on the search for a house in the city limits with more bedrooms, pray friends please pray we put in a offer and haven't sold our home that makes this momma nervous but I'm just trying to give it to God and let him decide and wrestle with the decision! It would give us a lot more room see now we have a 3 bedroom 2 bath with about 2 acres of land and the house we put an offer on has 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and we plan to turn one of the bedrooms into the laundry because the hook ups are in the basement which I hate.. I have good reason on my hind end massive bruises from falling down them, its lovely and sore I'd show you but it's to close to the crack ha!! I don't have a modest bone in my body since having kids and could honestly be just as comfortable naked as fully dressed but the boys think I'm crazy and so I have to hide ha ha.. Don't want to scar my boys for life you know. Well I can say this we've done nothing productive all week but have played and relaxed at the house and around town we call it are staycation and it's becoming are ultimate favorite there's no packing involved or stressing over $!!! So today were enjoying are last day of fun before the week starts back!! As they say in the movies it's a wrap!

It's Official....
Yes for those of you who are unaware it's official....what's official you ask? Well we've finally made the first step and have turn in our application to adopt with Lifeline Children's Services! Can I tell you how excited I am to make it official it already seems real and it's just the start of our journey to adopt our daughter from China. I mailed in our packet yesterday and of course had to overnight it, then today I missed our very first phone call from the agency but luckily they reached Scott and he handled the first of many mistakes I'm sure I'll make! Ha we forgot to put our names on our personal testimonies really what were we thinking..Oh well if that's the worst of what I mess up on I'll be doing great in my book!! As I sit here typing were enjoying a quiet evening at home, due to the lovely rain, ball was canceled for the night..Can I get a hip hip hooray? I needed this night off and time to just relax with the boys and zone out while they enjoy the movie Adventures of Tin Tin. It's allowed me to catch up on reading blogs, cook dinner(yes I cooked), and actually attempt to blog today. Don't get me wrong I'm loving ball season but with three boys playing and three teams that means three different ballparks, times and equipment and I'm struggling keeping this act afloat. Thanks to my hubby for being such a trooper and never complaining about ballpark duty!! You are my rock and comfort. I can't imagine it yet but I do know that in twelve to fifteen months we will have our daughter home.. The thought alone makes me smile. I'm going to try my best to be positive and continue to pray that God gives me strength and patience thru this process of adoption. We are a family of five but will be a family of six, how exciting soon we will have a daughter, another blessing from God. I long for the day we get her referral and actually get to meet her! Until then I've got three boys that keep me on my toes and running! God bless and good night all!!!

Informative Adoption Meeting!
Tonight we made plans for the grandparents to come up and take over ball practice and evening duties, so we could attend Lifeline children services informational meeting. While I felt aware most of the information what we did learn was we were at the right place to begin our journey and that along with God, Lifeline would be by our side to guide us and answer questions. This is where we are being led by God and our hearts, can we say China here we come! It was so neat to here that the couples who had sat in the same seats we were sitting had already traveled to China and were now home with their children. What a blessing knowing we are on this journey with other couples everyone's stories a little different but still the same as we all desire to do what God has commanded us to love his children and to reach ours and make a difference in a unwanted child's life. We're driving home as I text my dear friend, Kelly to share our news and I feel so blessed to know she truly is sharing joy in our decision. I can't wait for our daughters to meet one day soon we will be there Kelly thanks for the support and encouragement.. I know I'll need more so bring it on friends and family as we being our journey of adoption!!!..

Carnival... Do I need to say anymore!
The last week of January was a dream at least once we made it on the ship! My dear sweet in-laws gave us a trip for Christmas and boy was it nice..Can we say Jamaica, Grand Cayman Island, and Cozumel! I'm still dreaming of the sleep I experienced let's just say I've never slept better I don't know if it was the ship rocking me to sleep or being away from the real world but I slept all night every night with no neck or back pain.. Now thinking back I wish I had of checked the pillows because once we came home my neck began killing me again if only I had looked at the tag to see what kind of pillow.. Sigh.... Oh well! Don't get me wrong but preparing for the trip was the worst, packing for a family of five is not an easy task especially for seven days including two formal dinners, ha my boys think jeans and polo shirts are formal so polo shirts and izod kahkis will have to do! I became more and more resistant to going dreading packing and finalizing the trip then comes the sickness and I'm mean it was relentless first Scott came down with a cold virus, then he came down with the most horrific stomach virus. To say I was scared was the understatement of the year I was petrified that we would all get it or get it on the ship, then I got sick with an upper respiratory infection and tried to self treat until I gave up and went in to see our dear friend Richard who gave me two shots antibiotic and cough medicine. Now that I was on the mend I was trying to pack and work and deal with the kids school about being out for a week. Which was not easy by the way until this year it had never been an issue so I was caught off guard at the resistance I mean really they are only in second and third grade and they can do the make up work. I won't bore you with the details but I know why so many people are choosing to homeschool their children. To top the list the boys came down sick the night before we left with fever and congestion and I was distraught so the next morning were running with our heads cut off so now do we run to birmingham just to go to the pediatrician or urgent care here in town..? Decisions so urgent care here we come with our oldest begging for no shots and me praying that they would give them two but boy did he get lucky we rolled out with antibiotics and cough medicine! Now were on the road fever and all here we come no turning back now... Well here we come Carnival sorry we lied the first question they ask is have you experienced any fever or flu like symptoms oh no were all fine with the load of medicine we have were good for two weeks! Well they were so excited to be there and I was relieved and so glad to sit back and breath! Can we say haleilugh praise Jesus we made it here and we are going! Scott's parents, my mom and our family friends Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Jim and Matthew, along with a few other friends we were crusing to paradise! I'll hopefully add some pictures later when I get around to downloading them! I'm so tech challenged it's not even funny, if only I had known I could have turned my phone on airplane mode and could have used my camera on my iPhone but that info came a little late like our last day in port! I was so worried about international rates that they kept texting us that we turned off our phones and put them in our room safes. The trip flew bye and was a blast in Jamacia we went to Doctors Cave Beach in Montego Bay and visited margaritaville for lunch..can we say cheeseburgers in paradise are expensive Jimmy Buffet is making a killing but I still had to have a tshirt! Who could resist no shoes, no shirt, no problem I could live my entire life on the beach. Then we were off to Grand Cayman and boy was it nice I would love to relive that day so relaxing but way to short. Scott and myself laid on the beach at Royal Palms for a total cost of $14.00 instead of paying a ridiculous excursion fee and it paid off. The boys however visited the turtle farm with their grandparents and I think it was the highlight of their trip also! We met a wonderful group of ladies who were cruising on Carnivals Liberty ship out of Miami it was their last port of their trip, but I truly believe God placed them in our path and what a blessing they were their encouragement in our decision to adopt and our discussions on faith were without a doubt one of the best parts of the trip for me strangers who became friends in only a couple of hours. I pray for these sweet ladies and can't wait to get in contact with them and see our pictures we took that day! Then our day in port was over we were on one of the last tenders to the ship barely making it on the ship opps, we were going by their time Miami time oh well we made it back just in time! Now we were off to the Cozumel for what we thought would be a day in the sun on our private island in paradise but the sun forgot to shine that day but it was relaxing and enjoyable for everyone.. Mexican buffet, open bar, and playhouses and trampolines for the boys we were all enjoying our time but it sure flew bye and it was time to take the catamaran back to Cozumel then straight to the ship with a quick stop bye the Ron Jon Shop at the shops at port! Now we were back on the ship for a ride back to the real world with a few more dinners and meals.. I think I gained ten pounds easy but it was well worth it I ate everything even dessert almost every night and it was heaven. Now I'm crying cause my jeans are to tight maybe having this tooth extracted this past Friday will aide in my weight loss ha who am I kidding I doubt it has helped I've drank my weight in liquids and soup. Oh well were officially back to reality along with my tooth extraction this past Friday, Scott was diagnosed with the flu and had to take off work for two days but he was able to take tamiflu and is doing much better and Richard also started me on it and we all stay away from him I slept with Riley and did everything we made him stay in the bedroom and sleep so I'd like to think were in the clear but your never know so say a prayer that were in the clear and can stay healthy for a while. Now I'm resting and the boys and Scott are at church I am so blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life and can not wait to start the official adoption process with him! While off this week he took the time to feel out his paperwork and answer the questions that lifeline asks us parents doctrinal questions on our faith and beliefs. I'm so excited to be on the same page with him on adoption and that God is leading uson our journey. If only adoption wasn't so expensive why and how are the questions that keep me from moving forward I know God is with us we just have to tighten our belts and do whatever it takes to get the ball rolling to bring our baby girl home wherever she may be, God will show her to us he will lead her home and that I truly believe! I ask that anyone and everyone pray for our journey of adoption and that God will lead the way! I pray that God will allow that to be our last trip as a family of five and next time we will be a family of six with our little girl in tow! God bless you all!

Decisions...Decisions... What does God have in store.
Well well well does the Lord Almighty have things in store for the Schaefer family. I'm sure as a slacker in the blogging world there's probably not many people following me, but I'm attempting to use this blog to record my thoughts and activities that fill our days here in the Schaefer household. As well as an attempt to reach out to others who have adopted or are in the process of adopting, because as a mom of three I need all the help I can get.. Bring it on leave me comments and ideas, everyone has different experiences and suggestions and we are ready for the advice! Because we don't have a clue on where to begin. Of course we know there are many decisions to be made..like what agency to use, oh and who can forget what country? The only thing we know for sure is that God has placed it on our hearts to open our home to another child, one of his lost children. It is possible that child is born and alone in an orphanage, being raised with many other children who knows maybe the child isn't even born yet, let alone conceived...but make no mistake about it the child God has in store for us is heavy on our hearts and minds already. We pray daily for them, God's children, the orphans that is what God asks of us to do. I'm trying to not be in control and to allow his plan to take place in our lives and in the lives of the child he wants us to have! So with that being said we are having a hard time trying to decide which country to choose! My dream has always been my china doll, well that's what I've called her and dreamed about, ever since I saw Oprah's show on how Chinese girls were treated and discarded in the streets..You have to think I was a young teenager when I saw this, before I met my husband, before I birthed my three sons I knew I wanted to in some way help these little girls, because their mothers weren't because of the Communist country they lived in. Now after having three children of my own all of whom are boys, I would love to feel our home with the warmth of a little girl, whether she is from China or any other country, so I'm staying open and waiting for God to tell us how and when to take the next step. There are a lot of things that could lead us astray from adoption, like the cost, fear of the birth parents changing their minds, what our friends and family think, but with God on our side I feel he will move mountains, and other peoples concerns are not our problem. We have been called to save a lost child, who we can show the love of Christ to through his word and our actions. I can't wait for our friends and family and our church family to meet this child and I long for the day to bring her home. I can't wait for her brothers to meet her they are already so excited and love to talk about her, our oldest son says we should adopt twin girls....Oh my what have we got ourselves into..haha no really I love his heart, he will be a wonderful big brother for any little girl to have! Sorry to cut it short but it is movie night in the Schaefer household so I'm signing off for now. Goodnight and God Bless!

Let's wrap up 2011..
Let's just sum up our year as wonderful! There is so much to be thankful for its hard to put our whole year in one post as I am truly a horrible blogger and haven't had a post in forever. We have had a lot to be thankful for our health and family and more recently our middle child accepting Christ as his Savior. We were truly humbled at his expression of faith in his own terms as a seven year old. I have our heavenly Father to thank for dying to save us all if we would only ask, what an amazing thought ask and we shall receive eternal life. Then I need to thank my wonderful husband whom spends countless hours trying to reach our three sons through time in bible study, I could not ask for a better earthly father for my boys. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful husband and father. If only I had his strength and courage I watch him and am truly amazed! We as a family are thankful for another Christmas with our families, and remember those whom we have lost this past year. There were thirteen people Christmas Eve at our house and it was such a blessing Christmas morning to wake up and share it with my sister and my new nephew and her hubby, along with my mom. Then we can't leave out my wonderful in-laws and my brother-in-law and his oldest daughter Haide, this was her first Christmas with us since 2007. We truly have been blessed this year with our health, well besides my gallbladder issues and removal. I am pleased to say that my GI doctor has helped me with medicine so I am eating whatever I want now and am very thankful not to have to worry over where the closet bathroom is at. Scott's father continues to amaze us since his accident he has had a successful recovery with a few minor issue, but we are thankful to have him home and cooking.. seriously he is an amazing cook and grandpa and dad. I guess the most exciting news for 2011(that is after Brody's baptism) was the day my husband turned to me and said we need to talk... I'm sure just like you guys are thinking I was thinking what is it... Well my dear husband turns to me and says Meagan the Lord I feel is calling us to adopt and if any of you know me I've wanted to adopt for a while so I was like well sure sounds like were on the same page now! I honestly don't think I will ever forget that feeling it was the same feeling I had when he asked me to marry him, and then the days we found out we were expecting our sons. It was a evening in early December we were driving in the car I don't remember where we had been but I know we were headed home and what amazing feeling to know God had put us on the same page! So that being said he announced it the following Sunday at Cracker Barrel to our families, after we had enjoyed a wonderful worship service listening to our boys Christmas program at Northbrook, oh and so you understand the surprise I was surprised myself. I knew we had talked about it but I've talked about adoption for years so I didn't expect an official statement but he wanted our families to be involved and supportive. Which of course they were all very excited and full of questions and I'm sure they thought we had lost our minds because our house is full of energy and madness with our three boys. So I am formally asking all of you to prayerfully support us in our decision to adopt and bring home one of God lost children. It is overwhelming the amount of orphaned children in the world, I pray that we allow Gods will for the right child he will place in our family and I ask you to pray for that child and all the orphans as God call us to do.God Bless and a Happy New year!!!

To stay or to move...
To stay or to move is the question?? Is it my ability to not be content or is it what we need to do? You see the boys are in a different school district than where we live so we have to pay for out of district fees which are not to bad but it makes me sick to have to pay it! The school is worth it don't get me wrong because we tried the county school where we live and lets just say it was horrible and we weren't willing to risk another year! I can tell you this we have moved a lot I think every two years since we've been married we started out renting and the buying and remodeling which I couldn't stand but the hubs loved! It is growing on me the idea of another remodel especially with all the older historical houses in town. So I am up for it this time and it does help that the boys are all old enough to understand and stay out of stuff! When we moved here we bought a smaller house than what we were in before so it has been a challenge we are busting at the seems to say the least! So to give you and idea of what I'm working with I'll show you some pics that is if I can find them! Plus any ideas would help should I start projects that I'm wanting to do or wait since we want to move possibly??? The hubs seems to think that I can't be content with what I have currently but he is up for the move also due to school situation! To help you understand the hubs point of view since we've been married in 2000 we then proceeded to have our first son in 2002, and then our middle son in 2004, and our caboose in 2006....We would have loved to have more but my body gave out on me so since then I've had baby fever pretty bad it comes and goes but I would love to in the near future! We actually considered adopting before we had our third son but learned or certain restrictions so we were put on hold. I'll explain in the next post!! Have to go I've got a sick boy at home so I'm limited on my time!

I'm Back........
Okay so in the scheme of things I am not a good blogger although it interests me so, but I can't seem to find the time to sit and catch up! Most days I do good to process the day let alone blog about it! A lot has happened since the last time I've posted mainly daily tasks that come with having three boys but the weather has been insane we've had several snow storms this year and for Alabama that's strange but more recently we've had horrible tornadoes here in our county and state...Which happen to be more common the snow storms but they were the worst tornadoes for our state since I think they said like over forty or fifty years ago! In total over 238 people lives were lost on April 27th and I'd like to take this time to pray for them and to continue to remember them! The damage and destruction breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes to see, even with a lot of debris removed its sad to see, but the strength of our town has been such a blessing! Then to make things more interesting I had surgery the day of the tornadoes so we were separated from the boys so that was stressful but my mom took them to my mother and father-in-law's house for safety. We were at UAB on the seventh floor when they started calling code grey, CODE GREY that means oh CRAP!! The tornado that ripped through Tuscaloosa was headed for us and so they wheel me out in the hall, hospital bed and all!! To say the least it was interesting! Emerson's school was the only one damaged but all Cullman County schools were out for I think eight days! Wow wasn't prepared for that I thought i would have time to recover at home from surgery while the boys were in school but in the end all went well with the help of my mom and Scott's Maw Maw and his parents who came to save my sanity and the boys!!

Breaks Over
No really it has been great, no school, no schedule, no certain bedtime, no alarms! We as in me and the boys have truly enjoyed the Christmas break, but as of this evening we are back to the rituals of bedtime stories and brushing teeth....yes we did skip I think a few nights well at least I know the kids did, we were bums! We lived in our pj's until we just had to shower and go elsewhere then are warm and cozy home, I think this is harder for me to give up then the kids! I actually felt depressed today knowing its back to the grind in the morning. I love sleep and my best sleep is early morning to 9 but in the real world 6:30a.m. will have to do! I have even mentioned homeschooling my three sons and I said it out loud to my FIL, he said REALLY no it was just a thought! Who am I kidding I can't keep them productive while on break they would be rotten if they were home all the time! There have been fights, bites, and timeouts galore but we have survived and would love to have another week off, but this is it! I have been running every week for the past nine weeks so that's the only structure I've retained and I have been fighting to give up but have made it through the holidays a few pounds heavier but I'm still running and will run tomorrow so wish me luck! There is a lot to come this year that we are planning on tackling and I'm sure there will be the unexpected also so lets make plans to plan for the unexpected too! I mean as much as you can! Good night all!

New Year...New Goals!!!
Well as you can see I lead a pretty busy life and the boys seem to take over every aspect so I am attempting to do more this year. More for God, more for my hubby(Scott), more for our boys, and more for me! As for the me part that includes: blogging, and running so far and maybe more reading if I can find time! I also want to be better a capturing our families daily and weekly activities on camera, it seems the only time I pull out the camera is a special events which don't take me the wrong way is ok but I would like more candid pictures and recordings as my dear hubby would say! We are trying to take time for each other and to even start running together I am excited but he is a whole lot faster than me and I am about a foot shorter so our strides are a bit different!! I recently started training for my first 5K and will be running in the Frosty 5K here in the lovely city of Cullman on Jan 8th so say a prayer because if your a mom you know things aren't the same as they were before kids...at least when it comes to running! I would love to continue running if my body will allow it as I am really starting to enjoy it besides the fact that it has been slightly colder than normal and I have never ran outside in the winter so this could be interesting!! Stay tuned or be afraid be very afraid lol!!

2011
Well it is officially the year 2011 which I welcome with great anticipation! The last day of 2010 was very emotional as we lost our family pet Marley he was a terror and saint all in one! My poor husband found him in the 7 a.m. hour while on his way to work what a way to start your day.. After clocking in he came home and called the house to have me come out to be able to say my good-bye! It was a love/hate relationship the dog was all of a 100 lbs and thought he was 10lbs and could not be contained by any means...multiple harnesses, collars, including choke collars could not contain our loving house pet...not even the electric fence we invested in could keep him in!!! We buried him with his ball and the last towel he slept on it was a tearful good-bye but he is free and safe!! We have had a lot to be thankful for this year our children are all healthy besides their array of allergies and we were blessed to have a wonderful white Christmas with our entire family..including dad who was released from UAB on December 23rd just in time for our Christmas Eve tradition where we all pile in to wait on Santa and watch the kids with excitement and anticipation...We love this tradition and enjoyed having my sister Jess and her husband here this year, she is expecting their first child in July just in time for my birthday I am hoping for a healthy baby girl.....We our blessed with a wonderful family who would do anything for us and a heavenly Father who does what others can't possible dream of! I look forward to the New Year and pray for God to work in our hearts and lives and to help us bless everyone we come in contact with and to reach lost souls who need you! Use us and make us more in your image and help me with my faults to become the daughter, wife and mother I should be!!! I look forward to the friendships and experiences to come and the life we have to live may we live it to its fullest!

Lazy Night
So it has been a rough go for the past couple of days a awful nasty bug hit my poor little man Brody on tuesday. Luckly the bad stuff only lasted a few hours but man does it put you on edge! He was fine the net day and eating I was so afraid to feed him anything and he wouldn't have it, he wanted poptarts, bananas, along with ABC soup with meatballs somehow that just didn't sound like a great idea to me but he was good! I sent him on to school today since it had been 24 hours since his vomiting and he was okay unti he at lunch or didn't eat as his wonderful teacher said....she personally called me to tell me she thought he was not up to finishing the day and let me talk to my baby on the phone! He wanted me to come get him and he wasn't playing at recess so I rushed to his school where he informed me that he had drank chocolate milk I think that put the rest of the afternoon in the dump...He didn't get sick but he came home and stayed still on the couch for the whole afternoon until his brothers got home and he decided he was okay enough to play Super Mario Bro on the Wii! I had been at the school all morning volunteering in my older sons class for timed reading as I do every Tuesday and Thursday and had check on Brody often and he had been fine..so now the decision of what to do about tomorrow in all intense and purpose he is okay I think he will just get fatigued again...they only give you so many days for parent notes and I hate to take him to the doctor just to get something else..I know you other moms know just what I mean who want to pay a co-pay to get another sickness when you know your child has a stomach bug...Oh well I hope everyone had a good day and evening and God Bless !! We have a lot to do this weekend between two basketball games and baseball evaluations for Riley we have a jam pack day Saturday, them we plan on celebrating my sisters fiance's 30th birthday that night.. SO good night all I'm gonna go to bed now!

The Dear belated Christmas Pic's
Never to late for Disney pic's!
Yes we made it to Disney to celebrate Brody's birthday, yes I know it is in July but we want to visit at Thanksgiving time and boy was it a hit we loved the lights and the weather....Boy were we tired the boys were crashing before we would make it out of the parks and we would have to tote their sleepy buts my bus or monorail, we made some special memories and can't wait to go when Emery turns 5 yeah that's the magical birthday when we explore what all Disney has to offer!
Just a few pic's to catch you up!
A very excited Brody on Character Dress Up Day at CCPS (aka. Halloween)! He took the Manning families new book which by the way is a great book for future little football players all three of the boys loved it...But only Brody got to be the MVP of the day! Riley was a Motor cross/ Dirt bike rider and Emery was Woody I'll add one of him if I can find one!
Then here's a cute one of me and Riley at his classes Thanksgiving Play and my proud but LOUD son won he part of King for his volume..I'm thinking he will like drama like his mama....lol
